Terms of Service
All of our products are made to order. For our boards for purchase, we require full payment to ensure that your order is confirmed. For our professional catering services (including grazing tables and private/corporate events), we require a non-refundable security deposit (based on the total quoted cost of your service) upon booking. Our catering services require full payment (14) days prior to your event. If full payment is not received upon the due date, the order will be canceled, and the security deposit will be forfeited.
We request at least a (2) day’s notice for all boards for purchase orders and at least a (7) day’s notice for our professional catering services (including grazing tables and private/corporate events). Please contact us directly to inquire if a quote is needed for expedited orders that do not fit within this window.
Food & Produce: Please be aware that our boards and grazing tables include a mix of high-quality ingredients (i.e., meats, cheese, gourmet crackers, nuts, fresh fruit and vegetables, dried fruit, accouterments, and condiments). This is all subject to ingredient availability. The aesthetic arrangement of these ingredients may vary slightly by order. We cannot guarantee your final product will appear the same as the product images included on our social media accounts or website, but we ensure all products are prepared and designed with exceptional care and artistry in mind.
It is your responsibility to inform us well in advance of any dietary requirements. While we make every effort to accommodate such requirements, this may not always be possible. It is also your responsibility to inform us of any food allergies or intolerances well in advance. Our products are not prepared in an allergen-free environment, and there is a risk of cross-contamination. By purchasing any products or services from Boards by Erica, you consent to take on any risks related to dietary preferences, food allergies, and/or food intolerances.
Professional Catering Services: Boards by Erica offers a range of professional catering services (including grazing tables and private/corporate events). All catering services should allow for adequate space and on-site set-up time for Boards by Erica, based on the size and scope of the service. We will provide estimates of the space and set-up time needed when you purchase a Boards by Erica catering service. Our standard catering service does not include clean-up or take-down and operates as a self-service charcuterie experience. Please let us know if you require staffing during your event, and we will quote you accordingly. For our catering services, we require a $250 non-refundable security deposit upon booking and the full payment (14) days prior to your event. Gratuity is not required but is greatly appreciated.
It is the customer’s responsibility to provide accurate event details, including the event date, time, location, and any special instructions related to their service needs. Any changes to event details must be communicated to us as soon as possible to ensure smooth coordination of our catering service. Boards By Erica is not liable for any damages or losses incurred during the event, including but not limited to property damage, theft, or injury to guests. Customers are responsible for providing a safe and secure environment for the catering team and guests. If we have concerns about the safety of our staff or customers, including but not limited to health risks, unsafe working conditions, or security threats, we reserve the right to refuse service.
Product Delivery and Pick-Up: Boards by Erica is committed to providing timely and reliable doorstep delivery and pick-up options for our boards to our valued customers. Our professional catering services require on-site setup and are unavailable for doorstep delivery or pickup. We do not currently offer options to ship any of our products at this time. It is the customer’s responsibility to provide accurate event details for order delivery or pick-up, including the date, time, location, and any special instructions related to the delivery or pick-up of their order. Any changes to their delivery or pick-up must be communicated to us as soon as possible to ensure smooth coordination of our product delivery or pick-up service. Boards By Erica is not liable for any damages or losses incurred during product delivery or pick-up, including but not limited to property damage, theft, or injury to customers. Customers are responsible for facilitating a safe and secure product delivery or pick-up. If we have concerns about the safety of our staff or customers, including but not limited to health risks, unsafe working conditions, or security threats, we reserve the right to refuse delivery or pick-up.
We request at least a (2) day’s notice for the delivery and pick-up of our boards for purchase. Our standard delivery and pickup service operates Monday through Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. PST. Please let us know if you require delivery or pickup service outside of this window, and we will quote accordingly. All orders require a signature upon delivery or pick-up to ensure your order is received securely. If a customer is not physically present for delivery or pick up of their order in their designated window, their order will be canceled, and no refunds will be provided, as the products may not be resalable due to their perishable nature.

We proudly serve customers within a 20-mile radius of our location with our standard doorstep delivery service. To qualify for our standard delivery service, we require a minimum order of $50 before taxes and delivery fees. We offer standard delivery ranging from $5 to $25 per order, depending on your zip code, which will be added to your total at checkout. Please let us know if you require delivery outside of our standard radius, and we will quote accordingly. During checkout, you can provide any special delivery instructions or preferences to ensure a smooth and successful delivery experience. Our delivery team works diligently to ensure that your order arrives promptly within a designed delivery window. Given the perishable nature of our products, we cannot accommodate delivery if you are not physically present to receive your order. If a customer is not physically present when we attempt your delivery during your designated delivery window, your order will be canceled, and no refunds will be provided, as the products may not be resalable due to their perishable nature.

Right to Refuse Service: At Boards by Erica, we strive to provide exceptional service to all of our customers. However, there may be exceptional circumstances where we reserve the right to refuse service. Please review the following regarding our right to refuse service:
Customers must comply with all policies, terms, and conditions set forth by Boards by Erica when purchasing our products and using our professional catering services. Failure to adhere to these may result in the refusal of service.
Customers are required to make timely payments for their products and catering services as outlined in our policies, terms, and conditions. Failure to make payments as agreed may result in the refusal of service or cancellation of the order or event.
Customers must not engage in any behavior or activity that violates our terms and conditions, including, but not limited to, abusive or inappropriate conduct toward our staff. We reserve the right to refuse service to customers who violate our policies, terms, and conditions or engage in unlawful behavior.
The safety and well-being of our staff and customers are our top priority. If we have concerns about the safety of our staff or customers, including but not limited to health risks, unsafe working conditions, or security threats, we reserve the right to refuse service.
In some cases, we may be unable to accommodate requests for orders or catering services due to scheduling conflicts, capacity limitations, or other logistical reasons. We will make every effort to communicate any unavailability in a timely manner so customers have time to find alternative solutions.
Boards by Erica reserves the right to refuse service at our discretion, even if the circumstances are not explicitly covered by these terms and conditions. We will exercise this right judiciously and in accordance with our commitment to professionalism, fairness, and integrity.
Limitation of Liability: The limitations on liability set out above will not apply to any claim resulting from fraud, dishonesty, willful concealment, willful misrepresentation, or gross negligence by or on behalf of Boards by Erica. Boards by Erica will under no circumstances whatsoever be liable to you in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty, or otherwise, for any special, indirect, or consequential losses arising out of this agreement. To the extent permitted by law, you acknowledge that Boards by Erica's maximum aggregate liability to you, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), or otherwise, shall in all circumstances be limited to the aggregate value of the invoice issued to the customer by Boards by Erica under this agreement.
Changes to our Terms and Conditions: We reserve the right to update or modify our Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. We encourage you to review our Terms and Conditions periodically for updates. Our Terms and Conditions were last updated on 5/25/24.
