Refund and Cancellation Policy

At Boards by Erica, we strive to provide the highest quality products and exceptional customer service. However, due to the perishable nature of our products and the customization involved in creating each order, we do not offer refunds or exchanges for products purchased through our website.

Product Policy: All of our products, including cheeses, meats, vegetables, fruits, and other perishable items, are carefully selected and handcrafted to order. To ensure that your order is confirmed, we require full payment for all our boards for purchase. Once a board order has been placed and processed, it cannot be canceled, refunded, or exchanged, as the products may not be resalable due to their perishable nature. If a customer is not physically present for delivery or pick up of their order in their designated window, their order will be canceled, and no refunds will be provided, as the products may not be resalable due to their perishable nature. Customers are responsible for facilitating a safe and secure product pick-up or delivery. If we have concerns about the safety of our staff or customers, including but not limited to health risks, unsafe working conditions, or security threats, we reserve the right to refuse pick-up or delivery service without a refund. 

Catering Service Policy: For our professional catering services (including grazing tables and private/corporate events), we require a non-refundable security deposit (based on the total quoted cost of your service) upon booking a Boards by Erica catering service. Your full payment is due (14) days prior to your event. If full payment is not received upon the due date, the order will be canceled, and the security deposit will be forfeited. Payments can be made via credit card through the Boards by Erica website; all prices are subject to applicable taxes and fees. Customers are responsible for providing a safe and secure environment for the catering team and guests. If we have concerns about the safety of our staff or customers, including but not limited to health risks, unsafe working conditions, or security threats, we reserve the right to refuse service without a refund. 

Rescheduling Catering Service: We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise in which you may need to reschedule your Boards by Erica catering service. We will do our best to accommodate rescheduling your catering service to another date/time, subject to availability. Your security deposit is non-refundable. However, you can apply this non-refundable security deposit one time to reschedule your catering service event. If you need to reschedule your catering service within (14) days of your originally scheduled event, you may be responsible for a rescheduling fee worth 50% of your full payment charge. If you need to reschedule your catering service within (7) days of your originally scheduled event, you will receive no refund of your full payment charge. However, you will remain eligible for a one-time application of your security deposit to reschedule your event to a specific date/time. 

Cancelling Catering Service: We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, and you may need to cancel your Boards by Erica catering service. Your security deposit for your catering service is non-refundable. If you need to cancel your catering service within (14) days of your originally scheduled event, you may be responsible for a rescheduling fee worth 75% of your full payment charge. If you need to cancel your catering service within (7) days of your originally scheduled event, you will receive no refund of your full payment charge.  

Quality Assurance: We take great care to ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality and freshness. If you have any concerns about the quality or condition of our products, please contact us as soon as possible (within 3 hours of receiving your order or catering service), and we will do our best to address any issues.
